Isilwane Kennels was established in 1986, based on Ujamaa Kennels (Victoria) bloodlines. We have been resident in Victoria, Tasmania & now just out of Canberra in Bungendore, where our dogs get to enjoy their 600 acre backyard with gusto. Since our original dogs we have added bloodlines from various kennels around Australia to our pedigrees and in since 2000 we’ve been pleased to be able to bring in dogs from Camelot Rhodesian Ridgebacks (USA).

Isilwane bred and owned Ridgebacks have been extremely competitive in the Show Ring for the past 20 plus years and some have been active in the obedience ring too. We are strongly committed to breeding functional, well balanced Ridgebacks and put our dogs through Endurance Tests whenever possible. Our breeding stock is Hip & Elbow scored under the BVA/AVA scheme.
